This is one of the questions I've been asking myself, without realizing it, for many years.

 

Mr. Lee-Williams is a company born from the mind of a little girl. At the time, the project didn't have a name or a foundation to support it, but unbeknownst to that little girl, it was there.

 

So, I could say that Mr. Lee-Williams arises from my need to work on such a personal project that interprets who I am through clothes, colors and shapes.

 

My inspiration comes from endless afternoons spent watching Grace Kelly in “To Catch a Thief,” “Mogambo,” or “The Country Girl,” Katharine Hepburn in “The Philadelphia Story,” or Audrey Hepburn in “Roman Holiday,” “Charade,” or “Paris - When It Sizzles”; also from hours of VHS recordings of bands that revolutionized the aesthetics of the music industry, like Michael Jackson, Queen, and Madonna.

 

Therefore, with each of his designs, Mr. Lee-Williams expresses everything that has accompanied me over time, and will continue to grow as I do. In this commitment to personal honesty, it is essential to me that respect for the environment and animal welfare be present in each of the brand's production processes.

 

Creating a 100% sustainable company from the start is quite complicated, but we must work with each new collection to achieve "more and better with less," thus contributing to reducing the enormous pressure our industry has traditionally exerted on increasingly scarce natural resources, as well as reducing environmental damage, which is partly responsible for current climate change.
